If the price of a gown you see online looks just amazing, and, as is often said about such things, the price is just “too good to be true,” you are most likely looking at a site that deals in “counterfeit” dresses.

That means that someone, usually in China, has copied a popular gown offered by a well-known bridal gown designer. Many times the photos you see online are stolen, too, and what you think you are ordering and what you get are two different things. The fabric is not the same, the size and the fit are not the same, and the wedding gown may or may not allow for any alterations you may need.

Have You Been Affected?

If you have a story to share that would help other brides protect themselves from counterfeiters, please email Bruce Campbell at bcampbellmarketing433@gmail.com.
